Child and Family Counseling

The Center has psychologists who offer comprehensive evaluations to know the extent of student’s disorder and make recommendations for treatment planning. The service is also extended to the family of the disabled students and to help them understand, accept and extend their unconditional support. The Center also has Social Workers who study the social cases for each student and organize their social activities within the school program and community. They also work with the families of students to solve some common problems that the student might be facing at home. The center provides direct services to the families of students through counseling for individuals and groups, workshops and home visits in order to give parents the skills that help them on how to deal with their children with disabilities.
